LEC PhD lunch lecture

On this Tuesday afternoon from 1 pm, two PhD students will come by to talk about their research. These two speakers come from different areas of chemistry, so it promises to be a very varied lecture! In addition, a delicious lunch will be provided for all attendees! To do this, you must register on this page before Monday 5th of December.

We will announce the PhD speakers during the rest of the week.

– The first speaker is Stefano Bonciolini, a PhD candidate from the FlowChem group at the UvA. He will talk about his PhD, which deals with the development of new photocatalytic methodologies in organic synthesis.

– The second speaker is Eveline Tiekink, a PhD candidate from the TheoChem group at the VU. She will talk about her research, which focuses on understanding the origin of reactivity in catalyzed organic reactions, for instance, the Lewis acid catalyzed ene reaction.
