ONCS 2023

Dear sports- and party people,
This year, the ONCS (Open Dutch Chemistry Sportdays) will take place on 17, 18 and 19 May 2023 in the sports complex “De Bongerd” in Wageningen. Here you can play a team sport of your choice against teams of all the other chemistry study associations of the Netherlands! You can play basketball, petanque, board games, spike ball, bounce ball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, Kubb, beach volleyball, football or handball this year!

The whole experience will cost €44. People who choose to come a day later and miss the amazing party are welcome on the morning of May 18th and will pay only €36.50. If you want to join, you can enrol for a sport as an individual or a whole team in the ACD room (SP A0.09). The deadline for registration is February 21st. After that, the organisation team will look if there is space for additional teams and make final changes.

Afterwards, another round of registration will open on March 15th. Please note! The registrations for the second round are first-come, first-served for all chemistry associations of the Nederlands, so please inform the ACD board before then which team you form (with all names), so we can quickly fill a spot for you. The sports that are still open: boardgames (2p), spike ball (2p, 1 reserve), petanque (3p, 1 reserve), basketball (6p, 2 reserves), bounce ball (4p, 2 reserves), dodgeball (7p, 2 reserves), Kubb (3p, 3 reserves), ultimate frisbee (7p, 3 reserves), football (6p, 2 reserves) and handball (7p, 2 reserves).

Next to that, the committee is still looking for volunteers to help with the event. In return, you receive a discount or free entry to the ONCS weekend. You can read more about this in our association room next to the registrations. Also, take a look at the website of ONCS!
