We are pleased to invite you to participate in the seventeenth International Scientific Olympiad on Mathematics and ninth International Chemistry Olympiad and third on Statistics to be held in Iran in August 2016, organized by the National Organization for Educational Testing (NOET). In previous competitions, we had these countries participated in Mathematics Olympiad: Afghanistan, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belorussia, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Yugoslavia.

It is our pleasure to host the competing teams that your university or academic center would send to Iran for participation in the event.
International undergraduate students majoring in pure and/or applied mathematics, Chemistry and Statistics can participate (in teams of at most 5 students each) if they are considered competent and eligible enough by their respective government and/or university. The cost of the tickets for the participating teams must be paid by the teams themselves. However, the costs of food, accommodation and domestic transportation will be undertaken by the host country, Iran. Each participating team may be accompanied by at most two team leaders (usually university professors).

Each delegation is expected to formally announce the willingness for participation by sending a letter along with completed personal information forms (to be filled by each participant) to the Olympiad Headquarters not later than June, 2016. For your information, a brochure is attached. We appreciate receiving your quick response so that we may be able to go through the formalities in time.
